The Stock Market Game is an opportunity for students to reinforce the essential skills of critical thinking, decision-making, cooperative learning, communication, independent research, savings, and investing. Student teams will manage a hypothetical portfolio of $100,000 to be invested in common stocks and may be diversified into bonds and mutual funds. Starting in 2017, each team will have ten weeks to research publicly traded companies on the Internet in order to make the most sound common stock investments. The team from each school district with the highest portfolio value at the end of the ten weeks wins! ***Students must have an A or B in Math and Social Studies in order to participate.***
