  • SAT Exam Rescheduled for February 20

    The SAT exam scheduled at OCHS for Saturday morning, January 23, has been rescheduled for Saturday, February 20.

  • Scholarship Opportunity

    The primary purpose of the Oconee Lions Club Youth Citizenship Award is to recognize the achievements of two OCHS seniors who provide evidence of the following criteria: 1. Good citizenship 2. An active interest in the civil, cultural, social and moral welfare of the community 3. A record of service to the community without personal financial reward. The amount of the award is $1,000. Applications can be picked up in the Counseling Office and must be turned in by 3:00 PM on April 22.

  • Star Student

    Congratulations to Louise Zhuang. Louise will be the STAR student for the 2015-2016 school year at OCHS. She had the highest SAT score in one sitting in the senior class. Congratulations again Louise!

  • Commended Students Named

    Oconee County High School is pleased to announce the seniors named as Commended Students in the 2016 National Merit Program. Commended Students are being recognized for the academic promise shown on the 2014 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT) last October. There are about 34,000 Commended Students being recognized throughout the nation. Over 1.5 million students took the 2014 PSAT. The students from Oconee County High School are Jack Edelen, Mengqiao Gao, Godfrey Hendrix, Johanna Hoover, Cameron Mallett, Tyler Ortel and John Parker.

  • Volleyball Results

    Congratulations to the JV and Varsity volleyball teams on their wins over Prince Avenue and Morgan Co. last night. The varsity improved it's record to 20-11 on the year, and the JV team moved up to 16- 10 for the season.

Installment payment is available when your create your own ad online. These prices will increase beginning November 1st as the staff will be creating late ads in-house until all space is filled.
