Keep Your Heart Healthy By Living A Healthy Lifestyle And By Following

Parents and OCPS families, 

This past week there has been a lot of news about AEDs (automated external defibrillators) and lower level schools in Georgia that do not have AEDs available. We want you to be aware that OCPS has an AED and it is located in the hallway across from the office, to the right of the gym door.  We are very fortunate in Oconee County that all of our schools have at least one AED. The larger schools/upper levels have more than one. Please take the time to familiarize yourself with AED’s. Our AED talks the user through all steps. Our OCPS response team has been trained in CPR and the use of AEDs.
