The OCPS PTO is recruiting for the 2015-2016 school year!  If you would be interested in serving as Vice President, Family Fun Events Chair or Fall Fundraiser Chair, please contact us.  In addition to these three specific positions, we are always in need of volunteers for each committee.  Now is a great time to sign up to make our upcoming school year just as successful as this year.  If you are interested or have any questions about these needs, give any member of our current OCPS PTO Board a call.

Georgia Parent Survey

The Georgia Parent Survey for the 2014-2015 school year is available. The results from the survey will be used by the Georgia Department of Education to calculate a statewide accountability rating called the School Climate Star Rating within the College and Career Ready Performance Index (CCRPI). Please visit the following link to participate in this important survey that will be published statewide as a component of the new accountability system.

Parent Volunteer Information

Volunteers who spend extended, independent time with students in schools are now required to review training materials provided by the Georgia Department of Education and complete a volunteer information form. Such individuals should use the links below to access the materials and the form, and return the completed form to the appropriate school principal. Thank you.

Wee Read Program - Free Books for Kids Age Birth-5

Wee Read delivers a free, age-appropriate book along with an interactive parent newsletter through the U.S. mail every month to children from birth until their 5th birthday. Wee Read is sponsored by the United Way, and books are provided by the Dolly Parton Foundation. There is absolutely no cost to parents to receive books for their children. Please complete the Wee Read Registration form or sign up online at www.wee-read.org

Transportation Note
