The media center is collecting paperback chapter books for our Book Swap. For every 2 gently used paperback chapter books donated, a student will receive 1 book credit to shop at the Swap. So....teachers, students and parents, check your bookshelves, closets, basements and attics for children's chapter books and bring them to the media center. At the Book Swap, students will be able to get books for summer reading! We would like every student to come away from the Swap with at least one book so please support this event by bringing in your books.
We are looking for our attendance superheroes to come and join us at the Annual Super Hero Attendance party. If students have 5 or less absences/tardies from now until the end of the year, they will be able to join OCES staff at a dance party during school while enjoying great snacks and lots of fun. Make sure and help your child secure a spot by being at school every day and on time.
