BOE seeks ideas for school name

Later this semester Oconee County Schools will break ground on a new elementary school located on Hog Mountain Road/Georgia Highway 53 between Osborne and Dewey Roads, and the Oconee County Board of Education is seeking ideas for the school’s name. By virtue of Board Policy FDC, the board is charged with naming schools, and those names must carry geographic designators.
