Mrs. Holly Wolfe

My name is Holly Wolfe.  I have been teaching since 2003.  I had the honor of being the Teacher of the Year for CFES and also for Oconee County in 2007-2008.  This was a wonderful experience for me as I had the opportunity to meet many other educators from Georgia while participating in numerous professional learning workshops. It is my goal to create a loving, nurturing environment where each student can thrive and be excited about learning. I served as the 4th grade Team Leader for many years and currently work on the PBIS committee.

I graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in Economics in 1990 from Agnes Scott College. I worked as a loan officer for several years after college and then made the decision to be a stay at home mom for several years while my children were young. When my youngest child started school, I went back to school myself and earned a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Piedmont College while teaching part time.

I have been married for 32 years to Kurt Wolfe, a senior software engineer at the EPA and a Georgia Tech grad. We have two children who are both STEM graduates of the University of Georgia. GO DAWGS! It seems like just yesterday that they were here at Colham Ferry.
