Lynsey Thomas
Lynsey Thomas began her teaching career in the small town of Americus,Georgia where she taught fifth grade reading, English Language Arts, and Social Studies. She then moved back to her college town of Valdosta, Georgia and worked as a special education paraprofessional at Pine Grove Elementary for one year. After that year, she moved back into the classroom and taught Pre-K and was an EIP math teacher in Lanier County. Before coming to Oconee County Schools, Lynsey worked in the Fulton County School district at Heards Ferry Elementary for five years as a special education teacher. She served as both a co-teacher and a resource room teacher for grades K-5. Lynsey works at Colham Ferry Elementary here in Oconee County as a special education teacher. She lives in Watkinsville with her husband Joseph and their daughter Marley Kate.
