Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Callie Cobb

I grew up in Eastman, Georgia (Dodge County). I am a 2000 graduate of Dodge County High School. After high school, I attended Middle Georgia College and received my Associate's Degree in Business. I continued my education at Georgia College & State University, receiving a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing and my MAT in Business Education. I started my teaching career back at my alma mater, Dodge County High School, teaching Economics and Entrepreneurship in 2005. After a few years, I went back to GC&SU to obtain an add-on to my Master’s in Library Media. A few years later, I received my Specialist Degree in Learning and Leading from Georgia Southwestern. I spent 13 + years in the classroom teaching Senior Economics and Entrepreneurship. For the next 3 + years, I was the Media Specialist at Dodge County High School. I have worn several hats through the years, but always loving to learn. I received an endorsement in online teaching in 2021.

My family and I relocated to Oconee County in the summer of 2021. My husband, Jason, opened a GEICO field office in Athens. I have two daughters, Emily "Emi" and Elizabeth "Ellie," who are both students in the Oconee School System and future Warriors. We are happy to be part of the Warrior Nation.

For the 2021-2022 school year, I was blessed to teach the Marketing/Management Pathway at Oconee County High School, run the Spear-It Shop, and be the advisor for DECA. I am excited to currently be the Media Specialist at Colham Ferry Elementary School. Sharing my love of literature and learning is my passion in education. I look forward to using STEM and technology to connect literature to life for all the students.
