In 2009, I graduated from Georgia College & State University with a degree in Middle Grades Education, starting my career in Barrow County as a seventh grade teacher at Haymon-Morris Middle School. Here, I was named Teacher of the Year, which was both a proud moment and a humbling experience. After 10 years, I decided it was time for a change….a challenge….I decided to try out my degree in elementary. In 2019, my career led me to Walton County as a fourth grade teacher at Monroe Elementary School. In 2022, I found my way to Colham Ferry where I am honored to be serving the community in which I live and be a part of the Mustang Family.
