I graduated from The University of Georgia with a Bachelor's Degree in Middle Grades Education, with a focus on social studies and language arts. I am also certified to teach kindergarten through eighth grade. I received my Master's Degree from Walden University in Elementary Reading Foundational Skills. In 2002, I began teaching fourth grade in Fayette County. Additionally, I taught first, second, and fourth grade in Gwinnett County. At Oconee County Primary School I have taught kindergarten and first grade. Teaching is my passion! I am excited to have the opportunity to teach the chlidren of this fantastic community! I love working with the children and seeing them as they learn, grown, explore, and create throughout the year.

My husband and I have three wonderful children. I have twin girls and a little boy. They are actively involved in the community in such things as soccer, little league softball and baseball, gymnastics, dance, and golf. We also attend church in Athens.
