Matthew Lawing has been teaching music at Colham Ferry since 2007. He is from North Carolina and is a lifelong Tarheels fan, but has grown to love Saturdays between the hedges and all things Georgia football.  His main passion is to impart a lifelong appreciation for and love of music to the children he teaches. Students in Mr. Lawing’s classes develop through group singing and movement, learning about music of world cultures, and engaging in music making with instruments.
