I have been teaching for 26 years.  I graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I completed my Master's Degree in Reading Education from Grand Canyon University. I am married and have two daughters. My oldest daughter, Taylor, lives with her new husband in Marietta, Georgia.  Jordan, my youngest is a nurse and lives in Athens. My husband Monte owns a local restaurant here in Oconee County. We love being a part of this community. 

Most of my teaching career has been in the first grade. Colham Ferry is such a special place to me. I have been here 18 years and wouldn't trade it for anything!
