I am a member of the Colham Ferry Elementary staff, and I am extremely excited to be working with our 5^th graders this school year.  I received my Bachelor’s Degree from Illinois State University in Elementary Education.  During my college years, I worked with the 1998 Illinois Teacher of the Year.  Those experiences helped prepare me for my first teaching position at Liberty School in Orland Park, Illinois.     My belief is that the most effective teachers are learners themselves.  Therefore, while teaching, I chose to obtain a Masters Degree from Lewis University in Educational Leadership and Specialist Degree from Augusta University.  In 2018, I enthusiastically joined the Colham Ferry family.  When I am not teaching, I spend my time with my friends and family.
