Oconee County Schools is pleased to announce the schools below with openings within the system for the 2024-2025 school year.
The deadline for submitting the application to the Office of Student Services is 4 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 19, 2024.

* All high school students electing to transfer under Public School Choice shall be subject to GHSA eligibility requirements.
Once a student transfer has been approved, that transfer is good until the student completes all grades at that school or withdraws for any reason. A transferring student who completes all grades at the receiving school does not automatically receive enrollment preferences to the feeder school. At the end of each level of education (primary, elementary, and middle) the parent has to apply for the transfer if it is different from the zoned school. If there is space available, then the application can be considered. If there is no available space, then the student must attend the school for which they are zoned.
Notification of the transfer request approval or denial will be mailed to each applicant on or before Friday, Jan. 19, 2024.
