My name is Celissa Coleman. I am so excited about joining the team here at Colham Ferry. I was born and raised in the Washington D.C. area where  I attended Trinity University and earned my Master’s in teaching from Johns Hopkins University. I have been in the field of education since 2003 and have taught grades K-3.  I am passionate about early literacy and curriculum design.

My husband and I live in  Athens. I enjoy traveling, cooking and  entertaining family and friends.
