My name is Diamond D. Harris’ Smith. The students call me Mrs. Diamond. I am a native of Oconee County.  I graduated from Oconee County High School, where I played basketball, softball and ran track.  I had the honor of being homecoming queen, and earned several coaching rewards in 2000. I attended Truett Mcconnell College, and NorthCentral University Online. Prior to college, I served in education for 22 years. This is my 2nd year at Oconee County Schools. I have 3 children, fraternal twins and a senior at Mars Hill University. My background is psychology. I enjoy the study of mind behavior, and relationship building. I am a Special Education Paraprofessional, Behavior Interventionist, and Registered Behavior Technician, which led me to become a Certified Master Life Coach.In 2021, I had the opportunity to get my certificate in Life Purpose coaching, which has allowed me to help other adults and young adults overcome any obstacles in their life, especially children. I am very family oriented. I enjoy making connections and seeing others thrive daily to become a better version of themselves.
