Everything in the school system is handled through a team effort. It is always a good idea to try to resolve problems with the one who is closest to the situation. For this reason, if a parent has an issue at a particular school, we ask that they try to resolve it at the school level first by contacting the teacher, assistant principal, or principal. If there is no suitable resolution, the next step would be to contact the superintendent.
Likewise, if a parent has an issue with a particular department (transportation, school nutrition, etc.) they should contact the appropriate chief officer or director in charge of that department. Again, if there is no suitable resolution, the next step would be to contact the superintendent.
