Dr. Jaqueline Shoemaker

Jaqueline Shoemaker is a 2nd grade teacher and has taught in several counties in Georgia and overseas. She has teaching experience in K, 1st, and 2nd grades, with the most years spent here at OCPS. Dr. Shoemaker is originally from Singapore and is the youngest of 13 children! She and her husband, Greg, moved to Oconee county in 2006 with their 4 children, who are now OCHS and UGA graduates. Together, they enjoy exploring new places and have travelled to 5 continents, so far!

Dr. Shoemaker believes that teaching is her calling and considers it an honor to be a part of OCPS. It is a humbling gift to spend each day helping children learn and blossom to reach and exceed their potential. No other job offers this privilege and she is very thankful for this blessing!
