Dr. Jaqueline Shoemaker
Jaqueline Shoemaker is a 2nd grade teacher and has taught in several counties in Georgia and overseas. Her teaching experiences include teaching in K, 1st, and 2nd grades, with the most years spent here at OCPS. Dr. Shoemaker is originally from Singapore and is the youngest of 13 children! In 2006, she moved to Oconee county with her husband, Greg, and their 4 children, who are now all OCHS and UGA graduates. Together, they enjoy exploring new places and, collectively, they have travelled to 5 continents, so far!
Dr. Shoemaker believes that teaching is her calling and considers it an honor to be a part of OCPS. It is a humbling gift to spend each day helping children learn and blossom to reach and exceed their potential. No other job offers this privilege and she is very thankful for this blessing!
