Mrs. Paulette Moon
Paulette Moon is the Media Specialist for Oconee County Primary School. Her career in education started in 2002 at Conyers Middle School in Conyers, Georgia. While at CMS, she taught 7th grade social studies for two years and coached the CMS cheerleading squad. In 2004, she began teaching at Youth Middle School in Walton County. Paulette taught 6th grade social studies for three years at YMS. During her time at YMS, she coached cheerleading, served as the SST chairperson for her team, and worked on the textbook adoption committee for the social studies department. In 2007, she started her journey as a Media Specialist/Librarian at Atha Road Elementary School in Walton County. During her time at ARES, she served on the Title I committee, the Leadership Team, organized Literacy Nights, and school book fairs. One of Paulette's most exciting experiences as a Media Specialist came in the summer of 2011, as she was honored to be selected to participate in the Library of Congress Summer Teacher Institute in Washington D.C. Paulette has been the Oconee County Primary School Media Specialist since 2015. She could not ask to be at a better school than OCPS! The teachers and staff are kind, hard working, and dedicated to giving students the best education.
In her free time, Paulette enjoys spending time with her husband Josh and children Emma and Evan, and of course- reading!
