Rob Melton

Rob Melton is a Health and Physical Education teacher at North Oconee High School.  He is also an assistant football coach and the head girl’s golf coach at North Oconee.  Rob and his wife Crystal live in Bogart with their two children Tripp and Maggie.

Rob is from Metter, Georgia and graduated high school from Metter High School. After high school, he attended the University of Georgia, where he got his Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Health and Physical Education.  During his time at the University of Georgia, Rob taught undergrad PE classes as a Grad-assistant in the PE department.  After graduating, Rob began his teaching career at Winder-Barrow Middle School, where he taught math for four years and was a graduation coach for one year.  Coaching has been a big part of his career as well, with experience coaching basketball (boys and girls), track, wrestling, football, and golf.  Rob has coached the Lady Titan Golf team to GHSA State Championships in 2015, 2021, and 2022.
