Dr. Tiffany Wright-Alexander joined the staff of North Oconee High School in the Fall of 2012 as a Business and Computer Science Teacher and Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) advisor.
Prior to her arrival, Tiffany held several other teaching and leadership positions. She has held positions as Computer Science Teacher, Business Education Teacher, Cisco Networking Instructor, CTAE Director, 9th Grade Academy Director, and 21st Century Community Learning Center (BEST Program) Site Coordinator.
Dr. Alexander serves as the advisor for the North Oconee High School student organization, FBLA, which was named 2014 & 2017 Chapter of the Year. In 2017, the NOHS FBLA chapter received the "Member Achievement Award" for having 150 chapter members. The Business & Computer Science program at NOHS became an industry certified program in the Spring of 2014.
Tiffany is a member of several professional and community service organizations. She is an active member of Georgia Business Education Association (GBEA), Georgia Association of Career & Technical Education (GACTE), Association of Career & Technical Education (ACTE), and the National Business Education Association (NBEA). She has served (2015 & 2016) as the president of the Athens graduate chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. In February 2014 and 2017, she was voted "Chapter Member of the Year" because of her continuous service to the organization and surrounding communities.
Dr. Alexander holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Education from Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville, GA, a Master of Science and an Educational Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership from Troy State University in Phenix City, Alabama. In 2008, Tiffany obtained a Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership from Argosy University in Sarasota, FL. She has worked in the field of education for over 20 years.
