After graduating from the University of Georgia in 2006, I began my teaching career at Malcom Bridge Middle School where I taught sixth grade math for eight years. At MBMS, I taught Accelerated math, Advanced Content, and grade level classes. During those eight years, I continued my education at Piedmont College, where I earned a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education and a Specialist's degree in Teacher Leadership. I transitioned to High Shoals Elementary School in 2014, where I taught math, EIP, and special education before entering into educational leadership. I am excited about returning to MBMS as assistant principal and look forward to working with the MBMS community!
