Mrs. Erin Bowen
Erin Bowen has been employed by the county since 2013 and is currently an Instructional Technology Specialist for Oconee. She was a classroom teacher before moving into instructional technology. During her time with Oconee County, she was awarded Teacher of the year 2018-2019 from High Shoals Elementary. In addition to her time in Clarke County School District, Mrs. Bowen received the Four Star Recipient award for her hard work and dedication to her students. Her educational background includes an Associate of Business Science from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College, a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Georgia with a major in Child Development, a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Piedmont College, and a Specialist Degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of West Georgia. Also, she holds a Gifted Endorsement through a partnership between North Georgia RESA and Oconee County, as well as an endorsement in English as a Second Language. In addition, Erin is a Level 2 Google Certified Educator.
