Mr. Merritt Arnold

Greetings, I’m Merritt Arnold.

I attended Auburn University, (War Eagle) for my undergrad work. I earned a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education in 1993. Seven years later I earned my Master's degree in Education Leadership from Georgia College and State University (Go Bobcats). Then in 2008 I earned my Specialist degree in Elementary Education from The University of Georgia (Go Dawgs).

This will be my twenty fifth year of teaching children in elementary schools. I have taught in four different school systems in Georgia; one year as an In-School-Suspension teacher; two years as a third grade teacher; one year as a fourth grade teacher; and a whopping twenty years in fifth grade (teaching Science and other subjects every year). This year I am teaching Science to every fifth grader at Malcom Bridge Elementary. Thankfully, the Covid 19 restrictions have been lifted and we will be able to do more of the hands on experiments again.
