Beth Barnett
Beth Barnett graduated from the University of Georgia in December 1997. She substitute taught and worked as a paraprofessional until the fall of 1998 when she began working in the Clarke County School District. She taught kindergarten and then first grade at Cleveland Road Elementary for four years. In 2002, Beth was hired by the Oconee County Schools and taught first grade at Oconee Primary School for five years. While teaching at the Oconee Primary School, she returned to college and obtained her master’s degree. In 2007, she transferred to Malcom Bridge Elementary where she remains today teaching first grade. She has obtained a gifted endorsement. She thrives on challenging her students to become risk-takers and independent learners within and beyond the classroom. Her classroom environment is always inviting and welcoming for young minds to excel and reach their full potential.
