Michelle Robinette

This is my 23rd year in education. I spent the first part of my career in Gwinnett County where I was a classroom teacher and later, a technology coordinator. In 1998 we moved to Madison, Georgia and that's where we raised our children, Jessie (27) and John-Michael (25). I took a few years off to pursue a career in educational writing/consulting/training.  During this time, I developed curriculum, web content, software, books, and training materials for Scholastic, Apple Computer, Learning Resources, and School Specialty.

I came back to the classroom in 2010 just in time for my oldest child, Jessie, to head off for college. Jessie is now a second grade teacher in Barrow County. My son, John-Michael, is a United States Marine stationed at Camp Pendleton in California.

Four years ago, my husband John, a commercial contractor and I sold our home in Morgan County and moved to Oconee. We have truly enjoyed being closer to school, church,  and friends... not to mention all the excitement that comes along with living so close to Athens!
