Lee Rogers

Welcome to the 4th grade!  My name is Pamela Lee Rogers, but everyone calls me Lee.  I am so proud to be an eagle at Malcom Bridge Elementary School!  Teaching has been my passion for twenty-one years. So far, I have taught every grade level except Kindergarten!

I went to college at  the University of North Georgia where I studied early childhood education and art education. I hold certifications in Early Childhood Education, Art Education, Gifted Education and ESOL (English to Speakers of Other Languages).

My husband, Warren, and I live in Athens and we have two sons, Warren III (age 18) and Benjamin (age 15). My son Warren is a freshman at the University of Georgia and Ben attends North Oconee High School. My husband is a history professor at the University of North Georgia. When I am not teaching, I enjoy cooking, gardening, reading, and traveling.  I love to play the ukulele and sing songs with my students. I also like to draw and paint. There is always an art project going in my class!

Finally, I want you to know that one of my most important goals this year is to keep the lines of communication open with you. Please don’t hesitate to contact me at 706-310-1998 ext. 1110 or progers@oconeeschools.org  if you have any questions or concerns during the year. Also, sign up for the grade level Remind account.  This will allow you to text me directly and get text messages with classroom reminders. To sign up, text the code @mbes4g to the number 81010. You will also have access to newsletters, lesson plans and other resources via the It’s Learning platform.  Also, each Friday, your student will bring home a folder with graded classwork and other school related information.

I cannot tell you how very excited I feel to be your child’s teacher this year. I am looking forward to getting to know your student, learning from one another, and sharing some terrific lessons together during this school year.
