Hello MBES familes!  My name is Pamela Lee Rogers, but everyone calls me Lee.  It is such a delight to be the art teacher here at MBES! This will be my 25th year teaching and my 8th year at MBES.  Many of you may remember me as a 2nd or 4th grade teacher here.  

I went to college at  the University of North Georgia where I studied early childhood education and art education. I hold certifications in Early Childhood Education, Art Education, Gifted Education and ESOL (English to Speakers of Other Languages).

My husband, Warren, and I live in Athens and we have two sons, Warren III (age 22) and Benjamin (age 20). My son Warren is a senior at the University of Georgia and Ben is a sophomore at Auburn University. My husband is a history professor at the University of North Georgia. We also have two cats named Cleo and Hazel. When I am not teaching, I enjoy cooking, gardening, reading, and traveling.  I also like to draw and I am a watercolor artist.

I cannot tell you how very excited I feel to be your child’s art teacher this year. I am looking forward to getting to know your student, learning from one another, and sharing some creative and fun projects this school year.
