I have been a classroom teacher in the state of Georgia since 2005.  I have a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Georgia with endorsements in Mathematics, ESOL, and Gifted Education.  

I began my career as a first-grade teacher, spent several years in the Kindergarten classroom, and then found my way back to First Grade at Colham Ferry.  I have found joy in all my years as an educator.  Watching children learn to love learning and find confidence and independence in the classroom is their own reward--and there is nothing better than watching a child learn to read!

I am blessed to be able to do work that fulfills a purpose and answers a calling, and I am honored to serve students and families at Colham Ferry!
