Hi! My name is Ashley McCannon and this is my twenty-ninth year of teaching.  Twenty-five of those years have been in Kindergarten right here at Colham Ferry Elementary. Before teaching Kindergarten, I taught Special Education for 4 years.  I graduated from the University of Georgia with my undergraduate degree in Special Education and received my Masters degree in Early Childhood Education from Piedmont College.  I believe teaching Kindergarten is one of the greatest jobs in the world, since it is the first step on a long journey of education!  It is my goal to create a loving, nurturing, positive environment in which each child can thrive and develop a love of learning!
