My name is Paula Bargfrede. I am a Speech-Language Pathologist with Oconee County Schools. I hold my GA licensure in Speech-Language Pathology, my Certificate of Clinical Competence through the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association and my GA teaching certificate. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education and Master of Education in Speech- Language Pathology from the University of Georgia. I also obtained the degree of Education Specialist from North Georgia College and State University with an emphasis in Teacher Leadership. My prior work has been speech-language pathology with school-aged children from ages 3 through the high-school level. I have also served as a Special Education Coordinator in prior years in addition to speech therapy in the private sector in skilled nursing facilities, home health care, outpatient pediatric facilities and contract work with Babies Can’t Wait. Presently, I am happy to be “home” in Oconee County identifying and serving our preschool population, as well as, the students at Oconee County High School. My passion is helping students reach their highest potential by helping them acquire successful communication skills or by finding their “voice”!
