Jacy Rojewski

Hello I am Jacy Rojewski and I am a Support Specialist Teacher in the Department of Special Education - my focus is on students with Learning Disabilities and meeting their needs. I am also the Department Head in our office. I have been teaching for 20 years - I began my teaching career in 1997 at Morgan County Middle School, where I taught 7th grade for 6 years.

I came to OCHS in 2002 where I have been teaching the last 14 years. I am a Co-teacher mainly with the Department of English, but have also worked in the Department of Social Studies. It is my belief that even though I help students who may have weaknesses in the area of English - that through the use of their strengths and helping them utilize developed strategies they can be very successful.

I am originally from Nebraska and we moved to Georgia in 1991.  I have been married for 33 years to Jay who is a Professor at UGA. We have 2 daughters - Emily - a freshman at Georgia Tech majoring in Mechanical Engineering and Claire - a Sophomore here at OCHS.
