Mr. Richard Wehunt

I graduated from Jefferson High School. After graduation, I attended the University of North Georgia for two years before transferring to the University of Georgia where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Science education. At both universities, I lettered in varsity basketball for all four seasons. In 2005, I received a master of education degree from the University of Georgia in Movement Studies/Adapted Physical Education. While I was in the UGA Graduate School, I was a teaching assistant in the physical education department where I taught basketball, racquetball, volleyball, and golf classes. In 2017, I earned an Educational Specialist Degree in Special Education from Valdosta State University. I have been teaching in the special education department at Oconee County High School since 2009.
