I’m Judy Dowell and have been a parapro in Kindergarten since 2004.  I started in the education field in 1997 as a sub teacher for Downs Preschool and OCS, primarily at MBES & RBES.  I have an Associates Degree in accounting from Athens Tech.  I’m a Certified Paraprofessional from the GA Dept. of Education.  Prior to my Educational pathway,I was employed by St. Mary’s Hospital as a Community Care Coordinator and then at Oconee Medical as a Billing and Medicare Hearing Specialist.  I enjoy working with children and helping them grow in their education.  I also enjoy sewing and art as hobbies.  I have 2 children, Mitch and Morgan,  who are both pursuing Art careers.  My husband, David, and I have been married since 1982.
