Laurinda Freeland graduated from Towson University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology and the University of Georgia with her teaching certificate in Special Education. She began teaching at Monroe Area High School in 2002 as a Special Education teacher. She has taught many classes in the Science and Math Departments, including Biology, Environmental Science, Chemistry, Physics, Anatomy, and Algebra. She is the Special Education Department Head, Science Collab Teacher, and Assistant Girls and Boys Tennis Coach.
