Born and raised in Jonesboro, Arkansas, Mrs. Yancey moved to Georgia in 2001 to attend the University of Georgia. During her time there, she was a member of the UGA Football Cheerleading squad. GO DAWGS! Mrs. Yancey has teaching experience in elementary school, middle school, and high school, having previously taught in Newton County, Monroe County (Forsyth), and Barrow County. Currently, she teaches 6th grade math and coaches OCHS Competitive and Sideline Cheerleading. Mrs. Yancey and her husband (Dr. Kevin Yancey, OCHS Principal) have three wonderful sons.
