This is my 5th year teaching in Oconee County at Malcom Bridge Elementary. Throughout my teaching career I have taught Kindergarten, 1st, 3rd, and 5th grade. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education (K-5) and Middle Grades Education (6-8) in Language Arts and Social Studies from Appalachian State University. I also hold a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education (K-5) from Piedmont College. I am a gifted education and ESOL (English to Speakers of Other Languages) certified teacher.

I live in Watkinsville with my husband Marshall, our two daughters Miley (14) and Maddy (10), our son Mason (7) and our two kittens. In my free time I enjoy reading books, jogging, arts and crafts, and watching movies with my family.

I am excited to have your child in my class this year! I am passionate about teaching and learning. My hope is for all of my students to become life-long learners!
