Hibisca Kimura teaches Physics and Engineering at NOHS. Since starting in the classroom in 2012, she has taught at Wesleyan School in Atlanta, Saint James School in Montgomery, and Opelika High School near Auburn. Her teaching experiences also include Math and Computer Science, and she has coached Science Olympiad, robotics, and TSA teams in the past. With her own background in Mechanical Engineering, Mrs. Kimura aims to engage students through hands-on learning, develop their problem solving skills, and help them discover their strengths in STEM fields.
