Ms. Katie M. Wood has been in the School Counseling field since 2015. She joined the NOHS staff in 2017 from Gwinnett County, where she worked in the middle school setting for two years, focusing on crisis intervention, classroom guidance, and career planning. Before becoming a School Counselor, Ms. Wood worked in Washington D.C. and metro Atlanta areas for nine years as a Social Worker, serving a variety of populations, including people who were homeless, adults in the hospital setting, children/teens with cancer, and children/teens with special needs. She enjoys spending time with friends, her dogs, reading, traveling, and cheering on the Dawgs!
