Battle of the Books is a reading incentive program we offer to our 4th and 5th graders designed to encourage the reading of quality literature. Teams of students in fourth and fifth grades will read books from a selected list then compete against each other in a quiz bowl format to determine the team that knows the most about each book. Teams will first compete on the school level then on the district level to determine the county champions. This is an ideal program for students who love reading and like competition.

Below you will find the 2017-18 book lists for 4th and 5th grade teams. For additional information and forms, please visit the OCES Library Media Center Website.
