Andrea Pender is the Director of Secondary Education for Oconee County Schools.  Before her current position, she was Assistant Principal at Malcom Bridge Elementary School.  Mrs. Pender has a Bachelor's and Master's degree from the University of West Georgia and a Leaderhsip add-on through the University of North Georgia.  Mrs. Pender has been working in the public school setting since 1997.  During that time, she has worked in several elementary schools in Cobb, Gwinnett and Barrow Counties, and most recently supported schools at the central office in Barrow County as a special education coordinator for 4 years and special education director for eight years prior to coming to MBES.   Mrs. Pender is a graduate of Oconee County High School.  

Mrs. Pender and her husband Ted, have 2 children, Clay and Carly.
