Cassy Moon

Cassy Moon is excited to begin her first year as an assistant principal at North Oconee High School.  Prior to coming to North Oconee she served as an assistant principal at Grayson High School in Gwinnett County for four years.  Before entering administration, Mrs. Moon taught high school biology for 11 years at Grayson High School and 7th grade life science for three years at Lilburn Middle School.  During her 18 years in Gwinnett County, Mrs. Moon served in various capacities to lead students and colleagues in a positive way.  She served as a district leader for GCPS providing professional learning and mentoring to new assistant principals.   

Mrs. Moon graduated from the University of West Georgia in 2000 with a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Science Education.  She obtained her Master's degree from Piedmont College in 2002 and her Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership from Lincoln Memorial University in 2005.  Mrs. Moon has a passion for educating students and enjoys working with students and parents to create a unique four-year plan that allows each individual student to excel throughout high school.    

Cassy and her husband Mark, have one son, K.J.
