Mrs. Terri Thornton
Hi there- My name is Terri Thornton and I will be teaching 5th grade PACE Resource / Advanced Content in all subjects. This is my first year at OCES but my 12th year teaching. I have previously taught 4th grade math/science and 5th grade ELA in Madison County.
I graduated from Piedmont College in 2007 with a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. I continued my learning and graduated in 2012 with a M.Ed. in Early Childhood Education with a specialization in Reading and Literacy. In 2012, I graduated from The University of Georgia with my Ed.S. and gifted endorsement.
Along the way, I have developed an even deeper passion for learning, leading, and teaching. I am so excited to share that passion with my students, and I am very excited to be a part of the Oconee County School System.
