This is my fourth year teaching 7th grade life science at OCMS.  I received my degree in Biology from UGA as well as my master's in Science Education.  After graduation, I taught high school Biology for six years in Barrow County. I am excited about taking over the Ecology club this year, focusing on recycling in the school, taking field trips, and promoting environmental awareness. I also have a Minor in Dance from UGA and was fortunate to teach a dance class as an elective in high school as well.  I am enjoying being a part of the OCMS school musical teaching the choreography.  I am married with two sons, one who graduated last year from OCHS.  Both are in college now. I love being outdoors and studying the natural world, participating or watching any form of dance,and experiencing different cultures locally or travelling.
