My name is Lauren Hinshaw. I teach sixth grade Social Studies at Malcom Bridge Middle School. This is my fifth year teaching Social Studies. I received my B.S. in Political Science from the University of North Georgia in 2014. I received my M.A.T in Secondary Education-History from Piedmont College in 2019. In 2020, I earned my gifted endorsement. As a teacher, I believe it is my role to meet each child’s academic needs, challenge students to think creatively, and create a love for learning in a positive classroom environment. 

Outside of school, I like to spend time with my family and two dogs, traveling, and attending UGA football games. I look forward to teaching your child this year!
