My name is Katie Severens, and I began teaching 7th grade at Oconee County Middle School in 2018. I have also taught in public and private high schools and worked in admissions at the University of Georgia. I grew up in Covington, Georgia, and have lived in Oconee County since 2016. I attended the University of Georgia where I earned a BA in English and an M.Ed. in secondary language arts. I also hold gifted endorsement. I am so excited to be your 7th grade language arts teacher!
