I am thrilled to be a part of the High Shoals family as a special education teacher for 4th grade! I am from Macon and began my teaching career in 2009. In my 9 years of teaching in Bibb County, I spent 7 years as a classroom teacher in 3rd grade and 2 years as a classroom teacher in 4th grade. I made the switch to special education when we moved here in 2018 and absolutely love it!

I moved here with my husband and 2 daughters in the summer of 2018, so my husband could pursue his dream of teaching college. He is a lecturer at the Terry College of Business for UGA. We've been married since 2007. Our oldest daughter is in 6th grade at Oconee Middle School this year. Our youngest daughter is in Kindergarten at High Shoals.
