Mr. Carter Corn

Mr. Corn is beginning his 8th year as a special education teacher.  In 2011, he earned a B.S. in Middle Grades Education from the University of North Georgia and a certification in Special Education for grades K-12.  Mr. Corn began his teaching career at Holcomb Bridge Middle School in Fulton County where he spent 2 years teaching reading, life sciences and social studies in both self-contained and integrated environments to 6th and 7th graders.  He also enjoyed directing the HBMS drumline.  Mr. Corn has spent the last 5 years at Banks County High School in a co-instruction environment teaching coordinate algebra and literaure to 10th through 12 graders.  He has also had the opportunity to teach hospital home bound students througout his career.  Mr. Corn moved to Oconee county with his wife and 2 daughters in 2017.  He is passionate about enriching education for his students and in his free time, Mr. Corn loves to fish, play guitar, cook and spend time his family.
