Abby Bishop

My name is Abby Bishop and I am grateful to serve as a K-5 special education teacher at Malcom Bridge Elementary School. I graduated from Berry College with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education in 2014 and from the University of Kansas with a Master of Science in Special Education in 2017. I also hold endorsements in ESOL and Gifted Instruction. I have taught for eight years in the field of special education in both Georgia and Hawaii. I believe that all children can learn when given the tools necessary to maximize their success. I enjoy expressing my creativity through teaching that captivates learners.

My husband Cody and I live in Bishop. Cody is a special education teacher at Oconee County Middle School. When we're not teaching, we enjoy traveling, playing with our dog Pepper, and spending time at Lake Sinclair. I also love to read, exercise, and garden.
