Hello,

My name is Kristen Childs and I am a 3rd grade teacher at Dove Creek Elementary School. I began working for Oconee County in January 2019 as a long-term substitute at DCES and fell in love with the school. I graduated from the University of Georgia with my Bachelors and Masters in Early Childhood Education in May 2019. Teaching is a profession that I have dreamed of since I was a young girl. I truly have a heart for children and my ultimate goal is to ensure all students reach their full potential. I have experience working from kindergarten through fifth grade in the following counties: Barrow, Clarke, Gwinnett, Oconee and Walton.
